I have always been interested in bike packing and how to travel as light as possible when touring. This site is simply amazing! Not only is the layout well thought out, but the content matches too.

Came across this site recently when looking for a new Bern bicycle helmet. They have some really cool clothing for touring that is a little different to what other shops have. Along with the great service and prices, I would recommend a visit.

The editor of 4-seasons.de got in contact asking if they could feature cyclingtouring.org on their website! Another great opportunity that I could only ever say yes to. 4-Seasons.de is the website for the German adventure publication, that is also translated into English.

Tomsbiketrip.com gave me the chance to write a guest blog post promoting all the good things cyclingtouring.org offers to touring cyclists. What an opportunity from an experienced touring cyclist and creator of a great website.

Love this site! Some really inspiring cycle touring blog posts and some great information for experienced and new cycle tourists. Something for everyone.

Dave is an all round adventurer who has completed some awesome journeys including skateboarding across Australia! His site is full of inspirational ideas for enjoying and making the most out of your life.

Popular worldwide hospitality exchange website. People who are willing to host people sign up and provide their contact information, and may occasionally have someone stay with them. This is a great service for anyone to use. It helps keep costs down and more importantly you meet up with local people and experience the area they live in. It is something different to the usual hotels and camping.

Eric & Amaya have been touring the World since 2006! Love reading their stories from the road and the amazing places they visit. This site is certainly one to bookmark.

This is my kit list from a recent trip to France on a 1 week tour.

Many touring cyclists have heard of and some have used the service of Warmshowers. For those who don't know, Warmshowers is a free worldwide hospitality exchange for touring cyclists. People who are willing to host touring cyclists sign up and provide their contact information, and may occasionally have someone stay with them.

This is a great service for touring cyclists who want to keep costs down and more importantly meet up with local people and experience the area they are visiting. In return you allow touring cyclists to stay with you when visiting where you live.

It is always good to read through articles written by people who are real cyclists who are passionate about their hobby. This is a great blog site from Jeff who lives in New Zealand. Jeff shares information about his rides, events, new equipment and general cycling advice.

An excellent on-line publication dedicated to cycle touring. You will find some great write ups from people's cycle tours across the world, along with practical advice for new and experienced cycle tourists.

If you have never stumbled across Tomsbiketrip before, it is a great website with an extensive selection of articles about cycle touring and related topics. Tom has cycled 1000's of miles through a silly amount of countries and has kindly shared his experiences in many well thought out articles.

With award winning films, cool pictures, and books, Tom's website is interesting, well laid out and inspiring. Even if you are an experienced cycle tourist, there is still plenty to learn from Tom.
