A quick update on a few changes made to the site this week...
1. Upgrade to the Captcha for our registration and forms - this has been upgraded to the latest version from Google. No more typing in letters/numbers for most people (depends on the device you use), which we all know can be frustrating when trying to read some blurry image! Check out the Google web page with all the details if you are into your technology. Google No Captcha Re Captcha
2. Registered users can now login using email addresses as well as their user names. This will make life easier, as it can be difficult manage user names with all the services we sign up for. Everyone can remember (hopefully!) their email address.
3. Event software upgrade. The software we use to allow you to join cycle tours has been upgraded. This now allows us to show more cycle tours on the map - previously we were limited to 10 per page. This saves people having to click the next page so often.
This upgrade also brings some great new features that are being developed - I'll share the details over the next few weeks.
4. There have also been some general upgrades, patches and minor changes to other areas of the site to ensure the site runs smoothly. I won't bore you with the geeky details!
Hope you are all enjoying using the site!
