I'm new to the world of camping. I have a cheap mat I got from Millets years ago. It is uncomfortable and bulky. Get what you pay for! Anyway, has anyone got any recommendations for something lightweight and comfortable? Budget no more than £80 ish.

cheers for any help.

I recently invested in a Thermarest Neoair Xlite. Packs down really small, light and pretty comfortable.

Camping mats can be a bit like saddles. Personal preference. Check the dimensions before purchasing and work out if fits your body.

I have been using the Inertia X Frame recently. Looks like it would be seriously uncomfortable, but isn't. I love it. Would say only suitable for people who sleep on their backs. Sleeping on your side is not recommended with this!

I use Thermarest Prolight bought for £90. It packs down very small but is comfortable and warm. Would definitely recommend.
